چکیده

Möller Scattering and Bhabha Scattering on noncommutative spacetime is restudied. It is shown that the noncommutative correction of scattering cross sections is not monotonous enhancement with the total energy of colliding electrons, there is an optimum collision energy to get the greatest noncommutative correction. Most surprisingly, there is a linear relation between the noncommutative QED threshold energy and the optimum collision energy. PACS:11.10.Nx,12.60.-i, 12.20.-m

We have calculated the energy levels of the hydrogen atom and as well the Lamb shift within the noncommutative quantum electrodynamics theory. The results show deviations from the usual QED both on the classical and on the quantum levels. On both levels, the deviations depend on the parameter of space/space noncommutativity. The t¯t Threshold and Machine Parameters at the NLC

One of the problems in the design of a high energy e + e − linear collider is the distribution of the luminosity as a function of real collision energy, dL/dE, due to initial state radiation, beamstrahlung, and the energy spread of the collider. These effects smear a sharp feature in the cross section of e + e − → hadrons such as the t ¯ t threshold into a flatter structure. This study reviews ...

Fermionic Contributions to the Free Energy of Noncommutative Quantum Electrodynamics at High Temperature

We consider the fermionic contributions to the free energy of noncommutative QED at finite temperature T . This analysis extends the main results of our previous investigation where we have considered the pure bosonic sector of the theory. For large values of θT 2 (θ is the magnitude of the noncommutative parameters) the fermionic contributions decrease the value of the critical temperature, ab...

Signals for Non-Commutative QED in eγ and γγ Collisions

We study the effects of non-commutative QED (NCQED) in fermion pair production, γ + γ → f + f̄ and Compton scattering, e + γ → e + γ. Noncommutative geometries appear naturally in the context of string/M-theory and gives rise to 3and 4-point photon vertices and to momentum dependent phase factors in QED vertices which will have observable effects in high energy collisions. We consider ee collide...
